Personal exhibition by Catherine Varadi
Do you remember COVID-19?
It was definitely a hard time for millions, but for Catherine Varadi the COVID crisys turned out to be a life-saver.
After 30 successful years in international tax advice business Catherine decided that the moment of change had come. That is why Catherine became an artist.
During these two years Catherine Varadi painted over 450 pictures in different techniques. Mastering the craft was the main mission for her: oil, watercolor, pastel, acrylic - all the styles and materials were covered.
The business background, has never been forgotten, though. Shortly after Catherine started painting, she realised that she want to broaden her personal horizons, so she sent her works to different art prizes, winning several different prizes. Her paintings can be found in Canadian, British and American galleries.
That was good, but not good enough. Catherine Varadi opened her own drawing club for those, who want to relax while painting, but were afraid of mistakes.
After all this opening a gallery in Budapest does not sound like a crazy idea, huh?
