Personal Exhibition by Allison McCrady

Always changing

Allison McCrady, the celebrated California artist, has the rare gift of truly understanding how colors interact with one another. She uses this gift to create movement in perfectly still pieces of art. The scale is always large and the texture thick with 10 layers of paint on every canvas.

Discovering the color of Budapest

In addition to many private collections, UC Berekley, UC San Francisco, Kaiser health facilities, OpenTable, Wente Vineyards, Viansa Vineyards, the Kim Crawford Winery in New Zealand, the Moraga Country Club have collected her work, and her patrons continue to expand.

Currently, McCrady is focused on pure creation. This means she is never repeating composition, palette and  technique. The work is also evolving continuously through many genres. Everything is truly original and building on experience, as she tosses the disappointments and expands on the successes.
