The Golden Duck Gallery invites you to take part in the Natura Show & Open Call. Submit up to 10 artworks and exhibit your gorgeous art physically in our brilliant gallery for nearly a month in May!

We believe yes. Art can and should help protect the environment and enlight the problems and troubles nature experiences. Art has to stand out for the cradle of life and to bring some solution to this problem.
In the Natura Show we would like to share our view on the environmental situation. We would like you to join us, as we need to share opinions in order to really change something. Express your feelings through art, show us anything you feel worth seeing. It might be a shockingly sad or magneficently stunning view - we would like to see it anyway.

Physical exhibition
The main prize of the Natura Show & Open Call is the opportunity to exhibit your brilliant artwork both physically and virtually in the Golden Duck Gallery between

Gallery location
Our gallery is situated in the city centre on the second touristic avenue filled with restaurants, theatres, galleries and gift shops. The street front with large windows attracts a lot of attention of the people passing by.
Secure Payment
The payment for our Open Call is securely handled by the world-famous payment operators Stripe and PayPal.
Submission details
This time the submission is paid and starts at $20 for the first artwork, adding another $5 for every additional artwork. You can submit up to 10 artworks.

Deadlines
The Natura Show & Open Call submission runs till March 15, 2024.
The results will be announced till March 31 2024.
Shipping must be complete by the April 20, 2024.

Our colleagues do their best to reach out if they have any information about the exhibition. We are always happy to announce the winners list to all our winners, so we need rapid response in terms of shipping and other details we have to negotiate with the winners.

Köszönöm a pályázati lehetőséget, hiszen alkalmam nyílt részt venni egy nemzetközi megmérettetésen. Ez a fajta szervezés érdekes és előremutató. Korrekt módon lezajlott, és amint látom, a művészek részéről a részvételi arányt tekintve nagy érdeklődésre tett szert. Izgatottan várom, milyen fogadtatásban lesz részünk a nagyközönség felől az online kiállításon. A kétlépcsős megmérettetés dupla öröm, mert ez egyfajta megerősítése annak, hogy van perspektívája a művészetemnek. Egy apró részlet még hiányzott a szervezésből, mégpedig a zsűri összetétele. Szeretném tudni, hogy milyen szempontok alapján tevődött össze a végleges lista. Ez azért fontos, mert iránymutatás a jövőre nézve és egyben a munkáimmal kapcsolatos önreflexió is. Hasonló pályázaton még szívesen részt vennék más festményekkel, esetleg tematikus módon meghirdetve. Még egyszer köszönöm a lehetőséget, mert nagyra értékelem a képzőművészek és képzőművészet ilyetén formában történő támogatását. További sikeres munkát kívánok.

The Grand Opening Gala
Great feast of art
Meeting art should be a great & picturesque holiday, we believe. That is why we arrange Grand Opening Gala evenings for every exhibition in the Golden Duck Gallery.
It is our pleasure to ensure all our clients will get a unique opportunity to get to know the art exhibited in the gallery and to meet the artists in person. This tradition is becoming even more important with international art shows. In this case there are only few days the public can meet an artist from abroad.

Submission Guidelines
Artistic Conditions
The Natura Show & Open Call has some slight limitations in the form of your artworks. You can submit any artwork related to nature in any form.
Accepted Art Categories
There is absolute freedom in the categories. Feel free to submit both physical and digital paintings, sculptures, photography, videos or any type of mixed media.
Deadlines
The deadline for submission is the 2nd of February, 2024.
Please note that this deadline will not be extended.
The results will be published on the 6th of February, 2024.
The winners will be informed via email.

Conditions of being chosen
Basically, you can submit any artwork in any artistic style and topic. We have no limitations in terms of what artwork do you submit. Nevertheless, the Natura Show & Open Call has the main goal of running an exhibition connected to nature and its protection. This is why we would like to share some tips&tricks for you to know how to maximize your chances to be there on our walls.
The top tricks are as follows:

Make sure your art is somehow related to nature or to preserving the natural treasure of our planet

If your artwork shows a potential solution to an existing environmental issue, it is an advantage for the jury

If your artwork is made of sustainable (e.g. recycled) materials, that would be considered as advantage too
Awards
We have the following types of winners in the Open Call.
Winners
Winners are those artworks that won the main prize - the offline physical exhibition opportunity in the Natura Show & Open Call at the Golden Duck Gallery. Along with that, we guarantee the winners' pariticipance in the Natura Show's Online Exhibition on the Golden Duck Gallery's website and a Winner's Certificate of Participance issued by the Golden Duck Gallery.
Finalists
Finalists are those participants who did not make their way to the offline physical exhibition opportunity of the Natura Show & Open Call. On the contrary, though we guarantee the winners' pariticipance in the Natura Show's Online Exhibition on the Golden Duck Gallery's website and a Finalist's Certificate of Participance issued by the Golden Duck Gallery.
Special Award Winners
The Golden Duck Gallery launches several Special Awards that can be awarded to Winner artworks only. The Special Award is verified by a Certificate issued by the Golden Duck Gallery and contains the Award name, the name of the Artist and the name of the Artwork. Some of the Special Awards also have money prizes. The jury judges on the awards after the exhibition has started. The Special Awards Winners List is announced at the Grand Opening of the exhibition along with the presentation of certificates and money prizes.
The following Special Awards will be given at the Natura Show & Open Call:
Best of Show Award - 100 USD - 1 winner
Talent Award - 50 USD - 2 winners
Golden Duck Special Prize - 25 USD - 4 winners
Please note that the Golden Duck Gallery reserves its right to launch additional Special Awards without specially informing the participants.
Technical Conditions
For submitting to the Natura Show & Open Call you will need to provide us with high-quality images of your artwork in JPEG or PNG file format. We do not define a minimum or maximum resolution of the image as different artworks might have different criteria of a high-quality image. Instead we set the maximum size of the file of 25 MB.
For submitting video files please upload it to some videohosting (e.g. YouTube, Vimeo) or cloud drive (Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Dropbox etc.) and share the link with us in the description of the artwork. Please make sure the link is active and the content of the link is accessible to everyone who has the link. Otherwise we will not see the video you are sharing.
Copyright Conditions
You can only submit original artworks created by yourself for the Natura Show & Open Call. In case you are not the author and/or creator of the artwork, please make sure you are eligible for the copyright of the artwork.
As the organiser of the Natura Show & Open Call, the Golden Duck Gallery hereby states that all images collected during the Submission process of this open call will be treated securely and used only with the following intentions:

Running the jury process (the images are organized in spreadsheet and made visible for the jury only and are not accessible for the general public at this point)
For those images that are chosen for exhibition purposes (winners or finalists of the Open Call) will be used in the following ways:

The images will be published to the web page of the online exhibition on the Golden Duck Gallery website.

The images shall be published to the Golden Duck Gallery social media pages, such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok pages for information purposes as stipulated in the main prize conditions.

The images may be used with promotional purposes that include online and offline marketing materials (banner advertisements, search-based advertisements, promoted social media posts and stories, printed flyer ads, newspaper and magazine ads) that promote the Natura Show & Open Call exhibition in the Golden Duck Gallery to its potential visitors. The promotional usage will be stopped by the 2nd of June, 2024.

The images may be used to create a printable & online catalogue of the Natura Show & Open Call and a digestive catalogue containing all the artworks exhibited in a certain period of time (e.g. the catalogue of 2024 or a digest of several years, e.g. 2022-2026)
Please note that the right of the Golden Duck Gallery to use the images for the purpose of promotion and catalogue creation do not result the obligation for the Gallery and its owners to do so.
Please note that by submitting for the Natura Show & Open Call you accept the Copyright Conditions. If you do not want to give your consent to this type of usage, the Golden Duck Gallery reserves its right to deny your participance in the Natura Show & Open Call as the Golden Duck Gallery cannot provide the service as stipulated above.
How the process works

To submit your artwork, please first choose the number of artworks you would like to submit.

After that you will go through a standard online purchasing process just like on any other online store.

Fill in the necessary information and choose the payment option (Stripe for debit/credit cards or PayPal).

After payment you will receive your confirmation email with the PDF with the link to the submission page.

You can also access the same PDF from your Order successful page that you see after the successful payment.

Simply click the Download button.

Open the downloaded PDF file. Usually this type of files can be opened in a variety of different software. The most popular ones are Google Chrome, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Microsoft Word.

In the opened file click the Complete submission. A webpage will open.

In the opened webpage provide all the necessary information and click the Submit button to complete the submission process.
