From the series "Solitude".
In this series I depict the feeling of Solitude, hence the name. These landscape provide a calming sensation within our everyday lives.
This is a moment of today's Holland, So strange moment that is like a piece of ancient past that still lives in the present. A windmill that is nothing more than a monument of old times. Or maybe it is a symbol of eternity, a reminder that nothing disappears but stays with us as a beautiful memory that gives us strength.
