This is the first piece from my „Recycled Souls” series . 
She is young and beautiful, fresh with a budding, springlike presence – a quiet promise of becoming. Her time-capsule-like body evokes the form of an egg, a vessel of origin and memory, holding within it the potential of life, transformation, and the future yet to be revealed. 
This impression is further reinforced by the cradling small birds nest upon her head and the fresh willow greens, soft yellows, and natural tones – a palette that breathes renewal, fertility and the quiet optimism os early spring. 
Her name is Amadea, meaning „Gift of God”, a grace reborn from what was once discarded. 
Almost every part of her is crafted from paper, cardboard, or papier-mache – from the had to the body resting on a wooden circle base. She also carries several recycled decorative elements, such as hemp twine, wooden elements, felt ribbons, and a colorful denim corset reimagined from the upper part of one of my favorite sneakers.
