From a very young age, I have always had the desire and especially the need to draw and paint, to portray and understand the world around me. Throughout all my life I continued to create, in various fields, with particular attention to texture, light, contrasts and especially to color. Proud of an atypical path, I have pursued my art for years in a confidential way according to my personal life, but without being able to devote myself to it as I would have liked. But a few years ago, I needed to reconnect with that part of my personality as sort of an outlet. I decided to improve myself by doing trainings especially at « Beaux Arts de Paris » school to enrich myself and open up other horizons. Of a curious nature, I explored several techniques, watercolor, charcoal, ink, oil painting... but very inspired by Flemish art, oil painting has naturally become my favorite medium, especially for its glazes and its special effect on transparency. I place living matter at the heart of my artistic practice. At the end, I am a painter who seeks the light in the depths of my feelings and subterranean landscapes. My work invites us to plunge into the depths of the soul through a sensitive contemplation of nature and the world around us. The body of work I present here also bears witness to a mystical form that presents nature and the éléments that make it up as dreamlike présences. The organic matter represented takes us back to a fertile and mysterious universe where everything is beauty, calm and pleasure. In this pivotal era defined by pressing environmental challenges, my art transcends mere expression to become a potent force for change.
