My goal was to pay attention to the subtle shaping of facial features and expressions of emotions. Different textures played a crucial role in the painting process as well. It allowed me to bring depth and contrast to the composition. With achieving the mask effect, I hope I created a bit mystical and dramatic effect at the same time.
