I am a Slovak artist and art teacher at a primary art school. I studied at the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Czech republic and at the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Slovakia. I most often use acrylic and oil paints. I also use a spatula, fingers or even a spoon. Layers of paint, gestural strokes and a pinch of experimentation turn into colorful scenes where animals, nature or abstract forms come to life. When I look into the eyes of my animal models, I often feel that “every animal is just a person.” In addition to painting and ceramics, I organize art symposia, participate in open-air events and exhibitions. My works can be found in private collections in Slovakia and abroad.
