“Letter to you” explores communication as an exchange between two distinct visual forms: written language and organic forms. The text functions as a carrier of a concrete message, while the organic elements respond to it through a different, non-verbal language. Rather than presenting communication as a one-sided act of addressing another person, the work constructs a dialogue between these two forms, allowing meaning to emerge through their interaction. The work is created on natural canvas, with bleach used directly on the surface. The chemical process removes and alters the natural pigment of the fabric, creating areas that appear bleached, eroded and, in places, almost burned. This process introduces the idea of cleansing as an integral part of the work. Bleaching the canvas becomes both a physical and conceptual act: an attempt to remove, clarify or purify the surface, while simultaneously damaging and transforming it. This contradiction between cleansing and destruction is essential to the work. What is intended as an act of purification leaves a permanent trace on the material. The canvas therefore becomes not merely a support for the image, but an active participant in the meaning of the work. Its altered surface records the process of communication, removal and transformation. The title “Letter to you” refers to an act of addressing another person and establishes the work as a form of intimate communication. However, the dialogue does not take place exclusively through written language. It unfolds between the textual and organic forms, between what can be articulated through words and what must be communicated through image, gesture and material.
