This final work represents the quietest stage of acceptance. Almost nothing remains of the figure except the legs moving away through a luminous, open space. The body is still imperfect and carries the memory of pain, but there is no longer a need to hide or correct it. What remains is movement — a self that has accepted what it is and is finally free to continue forward.
