Alex Stavropoulos is an emerging visual artist based in Athens, Greece. He used to draw when he was young, then stopped for almost thirty years. In 2025, he began sketching again almost by accident — a playful return that gradually became something deeper. With the guidance of his teacher, Thanasis Giotakis, he started building a new visual language through painting, charcoal, pencil, and engraving. His work explores memory, emotion, identity, and the fragile space between presence and absence. Each piece is part of a personal return to creativity — not as a polished conclusion, but as an honest process of rediscovery.
