There are moments when we feel that the world around us is too narrow; that the frames we have set for ourselves (or that life has imposed on us) are squeezing us. But the true beauty and power of life always find a way to break through. This painting is my symbol of hope. The golden branches don't just come out of the frame - they split it to scatter spring freshness and pink petals beyond the outlines. The river with real pebbles makes its way, and the little blue bird has perched to remind us that freedom is possible. I added one magical detail: The delicate butterfly in the lower right corner is handmade of recycled paper and contains white clover seeds. If you choose, you can plant it in your home to give life to a piece of this art.
