I painted this from a photo by Gianstefano Vaprio. I liked his name because it resembled mine, but I also liked the photo. I think there is beauty in age. This painting was done in Doha, Qatar in 2016. In February 2017 I would move permanently to Budapest, Hungary and now I have seen this face in one thousand old women. The strength, endurance and defiance is enviable.
