In Light Fall, I set out to capture the rhythm and force of light in descent—not as a literal image, but as a felt experience. It’s a visual trace of something fleeting and almost unspeakable: how light fractures through chaos, how it collides, disintegrates, and somehow begins to gather again. The painting is built with dense, sweeping strokes. The clashes between color aren’t just visual—they’re emotional and temporal. The streak of yellow-white that cuts through the center is ambiguous: it could be a glimmer of hope, or the mark of something ending. For me, the “fall” isn’t necessarily a collapse—it might also be a kind of renewal. I invite viewers to lose themselves in this field of motion and color, to find their own moments of brightness—or shadow—even if just for a breath.
