We are preparing ourselves for Christmas, for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. Although Christmas is a Christian holiday many people celebrate this day as the feast of people’s love towards each other. We have bought the Christmas tree and the presents are waiting already wrapped to be handed over to our loved ones. My present to my family is a new picture: Caspar, Melchior, Balthasar. They are the three wise men who followed the star from the East to Betlehem in search of a newborn king of the Jews. My husband bought a drawing featuring camels in a desert some years ago in Marrakech. The picture was unfortunately injured accidentally. I wanted to save something at least from the work of the unknown Moroccan artist so I cut the camels out of the drawing and built them into my picture symbolizing the three wise men.
