My poster design depicts the winds of change regarding timelines and portrays two image compositions, with a polarity of different ideals along a tube. One at the top of a spiraling tube shows a time where life was simple and the technology was fairly basic with love, soul and freedom. At the bottom of the tube there’s a drastic change in technological advancement where AI is taking over our lives from the simple tasks of asking a question at the touch of a button instead of reading a book and researching in depth. Everything is easy and bypasses our development and human growth. Is this a threat? Do human’s want a future where a coded system controls our existence or this this a novelty that could threaten jobs and human behaviour? Some people have already expressed their concern and nostalgic memories of how life was with less technology and wish they could go back to that timeline. Whether artificial intelligence is a positive way forward or a threat, it is an issue we should be questioning. As a designer my views are mixed as I do use AI, but experience has equipped me with enough knowledge and conviction to utilize technological aids responsibly as some the elements in my poster were generated with an AI software 'Atistly' and then manipulated in photoshop. As my concept is based on AI I created some images, but I have complete copy write of them. My vision is to teach the future generation how we can adapt to new design technologies and bridge the gap without losing our soul.
