Sofiane Pamart – the artist who inspires the artist
This portrait, created with a mixed design technique, is the imprint of a long and adventurous creative journey. I worked on it for over a year, often getting stuck, falling into creative block, and losing motivation—only to return to it again and again. This ebb and flow reflects the rhythm I feel in Sofiane Pamart’s music: the alternation of lows and highs, silences and fulfilments.
The joy, energy, and enthusiasm of my current life stage finally helped me overcome the struggles and bring this work to completion. It also gave me the courage to submit the painting to an exhibition in Budapest, organized by Golden Duck Gallery.
Whatever happens next, this painting holds all my love, excitement, and perseverance. I hope that anyone who looks at it can feel the energy that Sofiane Pamart’s music awakened in me, and which has now been transformed onto the canvas.
