Amina Hamri – Artist Biography Born in Tangier and currently residing between Morocco and Germany, Amina Hamri is a multidisciplinary artist whose creative journey is deeply rooted in a rich family legacy of art, storytelling, music, and cinema. She is the daughter of renowned Moroccan painter Mohamed El Hamri, celebrated as the pioneer of the "Jabal Arrouad" artistic movement. Growing up in her father’s legendary studio, Amina was profoundly influenced by the vivid earth and water tones that characterized his work—an influence still visible in the textures and colors of her own paintings. Amina Hamri is a graduate of journalism, writing, and photography from Hamburg, Germany. Her diverse background extends into multilingual translation and global cultural exploration, further enriching her artistic vision. Her work—often blending abstraction with an impressionist spirit—is a visual testimony to her passion for experimentation and emotional expression.
