CONCEPT

The RESTART exhibition is built upon two parallel pillars that define our current zeitgeist:

I. SPRING: Nature’s Annual Iteration

At the end of March, Europe undergoes a visceral transformation. The RESTART here is biological and inevitable.

We are looking for compositions that capture this natural resilience—the return of color, the emergence of form from dormancy, and the rhythmic persistence of life. Whether through abstract floral motifs, landscape interpretations, or metaphorical representations of growth, this facet of the show celebrates the earth’s inherent ability to begin again.

    BRIEF:

In this section, we would like you to disclose traditional nature inspired artworks:

  • landscapes,

  • floral works,

  • animalistic creations,

  • still life artworks,

  • nature-inspired abstract, semi-abstract and fluid arts.

No style limits apply.

No size limits apply.

II. The Global Repair: Evolution Without Catastrophe

While nature restarts with a bloom, humanity faces a more complex challenge. In an era marked by political friction, economic shifts, and social unrest, the world is crying out for a RESTART. However, this exhibition specifically focuses on constructive restoration.

We move away from the "hard reset" of conflict and war, seeking instead artistic visions of systemic repair, diplomatic healing, and social innovation.

We invite artists to depict the opportunities for change: How do we mend the broken parts of our world without destroying the whole?

We also invite you to depict your impressions of the need for change, or your impressions of the problems that are present now or led us to the situation we experience nowadays.

    BRIEF:

We invite you to disclose artworks that are inspired by the changing world around us, its problems and possible solutions to those problems.

The following rules apply:

  • No style limitations are present

  • No size limitations are present

  • A 100-250 words description is NECESSARY for all artworks disclosed in this category

  • Feel free to submit:

    • Pop  art

    • Landscapes, cityscapes

    • Abstract artworks
