We invite artists from all over the world join our traditional summer exhibition called Natura Wien 2026. This time it is organized for the third time, and it is its second time in the capital of Austria.
The Natura exhibition, as the name suggests, is concentrating on showing art dedicated to nature in every possible matter. We are seeking for contemporary artworks of small and medium formats (up to 80x80cm) that falls into one of the following topical, style & technique categories:

Abstract, semi-abstract art connected to nature by concept

Art with the concept of nature protection, environmental issues etc.

Art envisioning the future of nature and humankind in it
Winners of the Open Call get the opportunity to exhibit physically in the heart of Vienna in a well-known CityGalleryVienna by publicartists just meters away from the world-famous Vienna Opera House!
Exhibitors will also get money prizes from a massive €500 prize fund, international certificates of excellence, and get featured on the Golden Duck Gallery's online exhibition platform & webshop.

We are inviting artists to participate in a showcase that celebrates summer and rethinks the way we should interact with nature itself.
We are looking for works that pack immense creative power into small and medium formats, with preferred artwork size up to 80x80cm. This is an invitation to translate your unique style into a jewel of an artwork — perfect for the sophisticated collectors and visitors who visit Vienna this time of year.

The Jury announces special prizes for artists showing excellent talent and artistic view. The awards are paid out in cash after the announcement that takes place on the Grand Opening event on June 14, 2026.
Submission details
The submission prices start at $50 for the first artwork. You can submit up to 5 artworks.
To participate, simply select the number of artworks you would like to submit.

Please be informed that the Open Call is an art contest. This means your artworks undergo a jury that decides whether the artworks are eligible for the physical or online exhibitions.

The Open Call fee is the administrational fee for running the jury and is not refunded to those artists who do not get their art exhibitied.

A sign-in to your Google Account (Gmail) is necessary to fill out the Google Form collecting the data for the submission. This is the policy of Google Forms.

The submission and shipping deadlines are strict deadlines. Please be informed that exceeding the deadlines might mean your artworks will not make it into the jury and will not be chosen for show. Exceeding the deadline on the artist's side does not make the artist eligible for refund.

All artworks created on workshops or during painting masterclasses are not eligible for the exhibition.

Theme, topic & size limitations
The Natura Wien 2026 Open Call & Show has the goal of runnung a multi-style exhibition dedicated to nature in art. So here are some limitations for you to know how to maximize your chances to be there on our walls.

The maximum size of the artwork must be 80x80 cm in any direction

Artworks covered in glass, 3D artworks with parts sticking out by more than 2 cm have smaller chance to be exhibited
-
All artworks must be in READY TO HANG condition!

We suggest submitting art with interesting and unusual styles to maximise your chances

We recommend a limited price range for better selling opportunities
Winning categories
The Petit Belvedere Open Call ends with a jury, that will decide which artworks are going to be exhibited. The artworks that pass the jury will be included in one of the following categories:
WINNERS
Winner artworks are the artworks eligible for physical show in the Golden Duck Gallery. These artworks will be exhibited both physically & online, will get a Winner's Certificate, listed in the Webshop of the Golden Duck Gallery. Also the jury will pick special award winners from this category with a total prize fund of €500.
FINALISTS
Finalist artworks are the artworks eligible for online show. These artworks will also be exhibited online and listed in the webshop until the end of the show, along with receiving a Finalist's Certificate.
Shipping information
The winning artworks must arrive to the Golden Duck Gallery in Budapest
by June 5, 2026
at the artist's sole expense.
Please note, that the artworks arriving at a later date might be denied of physical exhibition!
Please note that the shipping from Budapest to Vienna and back is handled by the Golden Duck Gallery at a maximum cost of 15 EUR / artwork for two-way shipping.

After the end of the exhibition, the Golden Duck Gallery shall send unsold artworks back to the artists at their own expense.

Please note that shipping fees on both ways (inside the gallery and outside for the artist) should be paid by the artist.

If shipping from outside of the EU, VAT or import customs might be applied on the border. In order to avoid that, please mark the artwork as gift. If the Artist marks it as goods, the Artist shall refund the gallery with the sum of the tax & VAT.

Our colleagues are ready to help you with shipping and delivery of your artworks. If you would like to organise the shipping yourself, please inform us about the delivery services arrival times and special needs.
How it works

To submit your artwork, please first choose the number of artworks you would like to submit.

After that you will go through a standard online purchasing process just like on any other online store.

Fill in the necessary information and choose the payment option (Stripe for debit/credit cards or PayPal).

After payment you will receive your confirmation email with the PDF with the link to the submission page.

You can also access the same PDF from your Order successful page that you see after the successful payment.

Simply click the Download button.

Open the downloaded PDF file. Usually this type of files can be opened in a variety of different software. The most popular ones are Google Chrome, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Microsoft Word.

In the opened file click the Complete submission. A webpage will open.

In the opened webpage provide all the necessary information and click the Submit button to complete the submission process.
