Horváth Melinda vagyok, Budapesten projektvezetőként dolgozok mérnökökkel és bonyolult technológiákkal teli környezetben, amiből tökéletes kikapcsolódást a kreativitásom megélése nyújt. 2019-ben ismerkedtem meg autodidakta módon a pirográf (fára égetett) technikával, művészeti előképzettségem nincs. Egy Audrey Hepburn képmás égetésével kezdtem a nő ábrázolást, ami azóta is kifogyhatatlan téma. Izgalmasnak találtam az égetett fa barnáihoz élénk, izzó színek alkalmazását, így akrillal is dolgozom. 2023-ban csatlakoztam több magyar művészkörhöz is, melynek köszönhetően mára már 13 zsűrizett alkotásom van, tavaly nyílt először lehetőségem a képeimet kiállításokon is megmutatni. Ma még a magam örömére, szórakoztatására alkotok. Ez a különleges, az ókorig visszanyúló technika egyre érdekesebb témaötletekre inspirál, amihez ma már a mesterséges intelligenciát is behívom az ötletelésbe. Az égetett fa illata, az elmélyült alkotás folyamata remek társ az önismereti utamon is. 2023-ban volt először lehetőségem Melinpirograf néven kiállítani a képeimet.
My name is Melinda Horváth, I work as a project manager in Budapest in an environment full of engineers and complex technologies, from which the perfect relaxation is provided by living my creativity. I got acquainted with the pyrograph technique in 2019 as a self-taught, I have no artistic training. I started by burning an image of Audrey Hepburn to portray a woman, which has been an inexhaustible topic ever since. I found it exciting to apply bright, glowing colors to the browns of burnt wood, so I also work with acrylic. In 2023, I joined several Hungarian artists' circles, thanks to which I now have 13 juried works, and last year I had the opportunity to show my pictures at exhibitions for the first time. Today I still create for my own pleasure and entertainment. This special technique, dating back to antiquity, inspires more and more interesting topic ideas, for which I now invite artificial intelligence into brainstorming. The smell of burnt wood and the process of deep creation are great companions on my journey of self-discovery. 2023 was the first time I had the opportunity to exhibit my paintings under the name Melinpirograf.
