Irina Jomir (b. 1983, Chișinău, Moldova) is an internationally awarded fine art photographer based in Norway. Her practice explores the divine feminine and psychological complexity through staged photography, digital collage, and painterly post-production, often drawing on Renaissance and mythological symbolism. Jomir’s works are held in the permanent collections of the Museo d’Arte di Chianciano Terme (Italy) and the Museum of Avant-garde (Switzerland), affirming her growing institutional recognition. She was named Photographer of the Year at the Budapest International Foto Awards (2023) and won Overall Winner at the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards (2025). Additional honors include Picture of the Year – Creative Portrait (Nikon Trophy) at the Norwegian National Photography Competition (2025), First Place – Photography & Printmaking at the Women United Art Prize (2024), and the Best of Show Award at Golden Duck Gallery in Budapest (2025). Her international exhibitions include FotoNostrum Gallery (Barcelona), House of Lucie (Budapest, Athens), Art-Icon’s Static Cinema in Venice, the Chianciano Biennale, and CICA Museum (South Korea).
