Shifted Center of Gravity, from the Homo Viator series, depicts two figures in fragile, interdependent balance. Their abstract, ornamental environment provides no stability; balance emerges only from their interaction. Tension drives the scene. Stability is never permanent - standing still requires effort, and change is inevitable. The painting shows that human movement - emotional, spiritual, existential, begins where balance fails. Transformation occurs not despite instability, but because of it; the shifted center of gravity is the very condition of growth.
