The picture presents the constant struggle between the positive and the negative within our subconscious. Positive events from the past (multicolored panels) intertwine with negative facts from our past (blue, pointed shapes that pierce the blackness of the subconscious like spears). The subconscious shapes a person, reinforcing the belief in what life has created or driving the individual toward depression and anxiety.
