Short bio. Marina immigrated to the United States from Odesa, Ukraine, where she trained in Theater Arts and puppet building. She earned her BFA from the School of Visual Arts and later studied printmaking at the Art Students League of New York. A Merit Scholarship recipient and three-time Red Dot winner, she co-founded IDEA, an aesthetic center for children, with her husband Eli, where she teaches painting, drawing, and art history, and helps shape immersive art and theater camps and cultural journeys to Europe. Marina lives and works on Staten Island at the Bomzhstar Residence, a hybrid home, studio, and private museum.
