The White Horse Dream 2 is a middle part of Triptych speaking about the same subject - The White Horse. It is a continuation to The white Horse Dream 1  when the dreamer sees in his dream a breathtaking animal. The magical entity which symbolized intense energy, freedom, strength, royalty and desire. 
Placing a fragment of a horse's body on the canvas is a deliberate move by the artist aimed at showing the fleetingness and fragmentation of dreams.
The painting process was strongly rooted in the dynamic of work: quick brush strokes, working with layers of white paint on a black, highly contrasting background. To achieve a surreal dream effect artist used painter's knives and wiped off the previously applied paint.
