- Olga Bolkisieva
- Born in Kiev, Ukraine in 1994. Studied Film and Philosophy at King’s College London (2013-2016). Studying film within the spectrum of other Arts encouraged my enquiry into the wide theory and history of Art and as well as investigation into different forms of art and media. Following my interest in film production, I went on to an MA in Digital Media Arts (Brighton University, 2016-2017) that introduced me to digital and graphic editing and design, screen-printing, projection, and wide discipline of screen media practices. I developed a video installation 'Visionary Forms', experimental in the narrative technique, that is a part of my creative experimentation. Since 2014, I have been developing creative practice in different forms of visual art, painting, photography and film. Interest in visual exposition, cinematic language and narrative in film are persistent throughout my creative practice. I work in different mediums and styles finding a unique way for creative expression. Art is about engaging with various sides of human experience, providing a resort for reflection for the viewer, engaging one on the level that one looks at in depth. I am in constant process of creating new work and finding new influences.
