Jonathan Durkovic lives in Nazare', Portugal and finds inspiration in nature around his home. He normally works with acrylic paint on canvas but often incorporates found items, other medium and natural items in the work. He has also expressed his creativity in stained glass, fused glass, watercolors and pen & ink. As a lifetime professional musician and artist, each has influenced the other in depth of expression, playfulness and thought. Music is audible communication while art is visual communication, both through the heart from the presenter to the observer. Music is meant to be expressed live and uniquely each time while visual art is an expression frozen in time from the artist until the observer connects.
